About TileTap Challenge
TileTap Challenge is a color-matching puzzle game. Each level presents a target pattern of colored tiles and a scrambled grid. Tap tiles to swap their colors and rearrange the board until it matches the target — using as few moves as possible.
Work through 20+ handcrafted campaign levels with increasing grid sizes and color complexity. Come back every day for a new daily puzzle, or replay completed levels to earn a three-star rating by optimizing your moves. Hints are available when you get stuck.
Built natively for iPhone and iPad, TileTap Challenge features a clean dark-themed interface, a main menu with Play, Daily Puzzle, and Settings options, and a polished experience from the very first puzzle.

How many levels are in TileTap Challenge?
TileTap currently features 20+ handcrafted campaign levels, plus a new daily puzzle every day. We add more levels with app updates.
How do I earn three stars on a level?
Stars are awarded based on move efficiency. Complete the level in fewer moves to earn more stars. You can replay any level to improve your rating.
What devices does TileTap Challenge support?
TileTap Challenge is available for iPhone and iPad running iOS 15.0 or later.
The app crashes or won’t open. What should I do?
- Make sure you are running the latest version of the app (check the App Store for updates)
- Restart the app by closing it completely and reopening it
- Restart your device
- If the problem continues, delete and reinstall the app (note: local progress may be lost)

I lost my progress. Can I get it back?
Game progress is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, your progress may be lost. If Game Center is enabled, some achievement data may be recoverable. We recommend keeping the app installed to preserve your progress.
